Refusing to back down, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced immediate retaliatory strikes against nations hosting U.S. military forces. State media reported that Iranian missiles and drones targeted locations in Bahrain, Kuwait, & Jordan.

Air raid sirens sounded in Bahrain—home to the U.S. Navy’s 5th Fleet—while Kuwaiti and Jordan defense forces intercepted multiple hostile aerial targets. Trump Says US Will Guard Strait Of Hormuz, Iran Holds ‘Nothing’

U.S. President Donald Trump claimed after the strikes that U.S. will guard Strait Of Hormuz and ensure safe passage of commercial vessels. He even demanded to be compensated for the same. The statement comes after Iran claimed it had shut the waterway after the latest skirmishes.

“We’re gonna guard it, and we’re gonna get paid for guarding it, a lot of money. We want to be reimbursed for putting our people in danger. We had a deal, they always break it. We’re just gonna hit them very hard. We’ll probably run the Strait. We’ll be the guardian angel. We should be reimbursed for that.”

Trump further accused Iran of breaching the MoU signed earlier and praised U.S. Military’s latest strikes. Iran, on the other hand slammed US aggression against its regime. Tensions in the Middle East have reached a boiling point as diplomatic talks remain in limbo.
