  • The resulting blaze prompted emergency services to evacuate a nearby maternity hospital and a residential building as a precautionary safety measure.
  • According to Ukraine’s General Staff, the Noginsk fuel depot is a strategic target because it supplies fuel directly to the Russian armed forces.

Strategic Impact and Massive Drone Interceptions

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the operation in a Telegram post, stating that long-range strikes had successfully hit two “significant logistical facilities in the Moscow and Tambov regions”. Zelenskyy claimed that the Russian military used these sites to supply sanctioned components necessary for the production of combat drones and navigation equipment. He also highlighted that Ukrainian mid-range strikes engaged targets in the Sea of Azov, the Black Sea, and occupied Crimea. Ukraine strikes on Russia have intensified in past few weeks with drones targeting Kremlin’s oil infrastructure and shadow fleet.
